Zdravko Vasilev, the winner of the first season of the reality show "Big Brother", left his hometown of Primorsko at the height of the summer tourist season to start working in the Philippines, writes Weekend, quoted by burgas24.bg.
Since mid-June, Glarusa has been enjoying the stunning scenery and powder-fine sands of the famous archipelago as part of the crew of the adventure show "Island of 100 Bracelets", which will be broadcast this autumn on bTV .
The first reality champion in Bulgaria is not among the 30 selected participants for the debut season of the worldwide hit adventure show, but was hired by the producer Niki Nikolov to take care of the provision, construction and unraveling of dozens of obstacles they face the contestants.
The technical and logistical support of the adventure reality show is carried out by a mixed team of Bulgarians and residents of the Philippines, and Zdravko is among the most active and skilled collaborators of the producers, recognized by the show. Glarusa will be in the Philippines until mid-August, but BTV is keeping it a secret whether he will be in the frame or whether his work will remain off-camera. It is assumed that because of his popularity among reality show fans, Zdravko will also be entrusted with some role in front of the camera, at least as a star technical assistant on "The Island of 100 Hryvnias”. The hosts of the show are Dilyana Popova and Alexander Sano, and among the participants in the show are several iconic models.
While in the Philippines, Glarusa keeps posting photos from her stay and often compares the beautiful beaches and nature of the archipelago to Primorsko. Just days before leaving for Asia, Zdravko presented his hometown with a huge array of photos and video materials of the beautiful sights of the seaside town, which he had shot over the past few years. The mayor of Primorsko, Ivan Gaikov, is already using the footage of Glarus for advertising clips of the resort town with the longest sandy strips south of Burgas, which are circulating on social networks.
While Zdravko toils and tans on the Philippine beaches almost 12,000 km away. distance from Primorsko, his wife Hristina and his grown-up daughters Janitsa and Zornitsa take care of the family hotel "Lilia", located in one of the nicest parts of the town, right next to the entrance to the North beach. Zdravko is also the father of a 5-year-old son, who is still too young to be involved in the family business.
Before heading to the Philippines, Glarusa leased his yacht for the current summer season to a local businessman, with which he has been showing tourists the beautiful coast of Primorsko in recent years. After winning BGN 200,000 as the first winner of "Big Brother" in 2005, Zdravko invested part of the winnings in a 10-meter boat for excursions and in the construction of a summer pool at the family hotel. Two years later, Zdravko's wife – Hristina, triumphed as the winner of the "VIP Brother" and subsequently the family bought a second yacht, which Glarusa parted with last spring, writes "Weekend".
