National boxing champion Radoslav Rosenov received another recognition at the European Championship for men under 23 years of age in Budapest. Radoslav, who won his fourth consecutive title, was also chosen as the "Best Boxer" of the championship, reports BTA. The Bulgarian defended his title in the 60 kg category to prove that he is the #1 on the Old Continent.
"I am very happy. I came here with the sole thought of leaving as a four-time champion. I am glad that I achieved it. The award for #1 is a recognition that flatters me very much, because my work is appreciated. "I thank everyone who supports me, the Bulgarian Boxing Federation, the president Krasimir Ininski, the coaches Joel Arate and Valentin Poptolev, my personal trainer Sabi Sabev, my family and teammates. This is another step towards the big goal - an Olympic medal in Los Angeles," Radoslav Rosenov said after the success to the Bulgarian Boxing Federation.
Bulgaria finished with a total of three awards in Budapest. In addition to Rosenov's gold, Viktorio Iliev (65 kg) and William Cholov (80 kg) won silver medals. A performance that put our country at the top of the men's rankings in the Hungarian capital.
