Levski prevailed as a guest over Loko (Sf) with 6:1. Stanislav Genchev's team also showed character by making a complete turnaround after allowing themselves to fall behind in the result. Almost all the goals came before the break, with Ante Aralitsa putting Lokomotiv ahead, Alex Kolev equalizing, Aldair putting the visitors ahead and Javad El Jemili with two goals to seal the deal. In the added time of the match, Carlos Ohene and Mustafa Sangare scored their debut goals for the team. Thus, during the success, five players of Levski scored their first goals for the team.
The home team from Lokomotiv (Sofia) started the match more aggressively, as Levski made a mistake at the very beginning when delivering the ball, but the "railway players" they failed to take advantage of the situation. However, this happened in the fifth minute. Then, during a quick counterattack, Celso Raposo crossed from the right, Christian Dimitrov hung under the ball, which reached the home team's batter, who stopped the ball with his left knee and immediately scored with his right foot in Matej Markovic's goal - 1:0.
In the tenth minute "red-black" were very close to a second goal. Ante Aralitsa passed to Simeon Slavchev in the penalty area, but the latter's shot was blocked by Kelian van der Kaap.
The "Blues", who played in yellow teams in this match, responded very quickly to the challenge. In the 12th minute, Maikon crossed from the left, and Levski's new striker Alex Kolev scored a masterful goal with a diving header to make it 1:1.
In the 21st minute, the new right defender of Levski Aldair made an impressive dribble, leaving three Lokomotiv football players far behind him and coming alone against the goalkeeper Alexander Lyubenov, scored with a diagonal shot for 2:1.
In the first minute of stoppage time on a quick free kick Javad El Jemili advanced through the center and shot with his left foot, the ball bounced off the right post of Lubenov and returned to the penalty spot where the running El Jemili scored it in the net with the right foot – 3:1.
Just two minutes later, Alex Kolev headed the ball back into the penalty area, and the uncovered El Jemili sent it into the net for the fourth time with a powerful shot – 4:1.
In the first minute of added time (9 minutes), Carlos Ohene stole the ball from Diogo Teixeira, went alone against the goalkeeper and made it 5:1 with a technical shot past him.
Shortly before the final whistle, Mustafa Sangare fought off three defenders, guarded the ball and made the final 6:1 with a powerful shot.
In the next round, Levski welcomes Botev (Vratsa) to Sofia on Friday, and Lokomotiv will visit Beroe in Stara Zagora next Monday.
