RB Leipzig rejected an offer from Barcelona for Dani Olmo, reported sportal.bg.
The Catalans' offer arrived a few days ago and was quickly rejected. The reason is that the Spanish club has not satisfied the financial claims of Saxons.
A few days ago, the clause in Olmo's contract that allowed him to leave with an offer worth 60 million euros expired. Barca's offer was around that amount, but 20 million is for possible bonuses. The Germans want a package worth a total of 100 million for the Spanish international.
Olmo is a Barcelona youth player, but in 2014 he moved to Dinamo (Zagreb), where he developed and then moved to Leipzig. The 26-year-old midfielder performed brilliantly at Euro 2024 and was instrumental in helping Spain win the title.
