"Yes, I expected a difficult match. We had hoped it would be lighter, but that was the circumstances. Intense defensive game. It was the same against Batumi. After winning the first game, things get more complicated," Bonman said.
"We had reasons to be motivated, but they came together very powerfully. We had our chances to score. "When you're in the Champions League and the qualifiers, every game is difficult," he continued.
"We are a very good team. My adaptation is going well. I feel good and happy to have helped the team to continue in the next phase of the tournament.
"Maybe sometimes it's better to make it difficult because you learn the lessons. We will be more careful in the next matches. We were ready the first minutes. We were very good at them. It's the beginning of the season and we have to improve.
"It will be very, very complicated, only if you see the matches of Qarabag with Bayer Leverkusen. It gets harder with each step. We have to prepare. I think we have chances against Qarabag.
