Spartak (Varna) coach Alexander Tomas shared his impressions of CSKA's game and the work of the army coach Tomislav Stipić before the upcoming meeting between the two teams, which will be played on Saturday.
"I watched CSKA's match with Ludogorets several times. In the first half, the team played very strongly. No one else can make such a press against Ludogorets in Bulgaria. Stipich is a good coach. I convinced myself of that. In order to approach like this against the people of Razgrad, you don't only want to have good football players, but also to have big balls. I was impressed by details in CSKA's game, which are rarely seen in Bulgaria," Tomas told "Tema sport", quoted by Topsport.
"It is normal for this intensity, this aggression, the press and the dynamics to end around the 50-60th minute. "No team can withstand such a pace for a whole match," he added.
"We will try to make it difficult for CSKA, we will not go home in a deaf defense, we will try to check our clocks. Our journey is just beginning and I will be satisfied if we can carry over what we are doing in training and during the match on Saturday", concluded the specialist.
