Venezuelan defender Cristian Makun's debut goal gave Levski a 2-1 victory at home to Arda in a match of the 10th round of the First League. The other goal for the victory was scored by Alexander Kolev from a penalty kick, and Stanislav Ivanov scored for Arda at the end of the first half, reports BTA.
Before the start of the match, Levski captain Vanderson Tsunami received a special jersey from the majority owner Nasko Sirakov on the occasion of his 100th match with the blue team.
The home team didn't waste any extra time in playing the ball and in the 35th second they managed to send it into Arda's goal, but Javad El Jemili's goal was canceled due to an ambush.
Levski's more active start still paid off in the 12th minute when Plamen Krachunov fouled Mustafa Sangare in the penalty area and Levski was awarded a penalty. With her performance, Alex Kolev, who was accurate for 1:0, took the lead. Arda managed to equalize in their first more dangerous attack in the 39th minute. Tonislav Yordanov then managed to get Stanislav Ivanov behind the hosts' defense and Levski's youngster punished his former club. He shot, Matej Markovic deflected, but the ball stopped right in front of the goal and the running Ivanov scored it for 1:1.
At the beginning of the second half, Ivanov had a good opportunity to score a second goal, but he failed to intercept a cross from his partner in attack, Chinonso Ofor. In the 73rd minute, Levski's pressure still brought a result and the "blue" led 2:1. After a cross from a corner, Alex Kolev deflected his head to Christian Makun, who scored a very beautiful goal with a back scissor. For the Venezuelan international, it was the first goal with the team from the capital city in only his third official match.
In the 85th minute, Arda could have equalized, but Marković handled a long shot by a visiting player.
