Real Madrid seem convinced that Bournemouth defender Dean Huysen is the right choice for them in a strategic transfer aimed at the future.

The 19-year-old defender's exceptional season in the Premier League has sparked the interest of a number of European giants. Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle are also monitoring the situation, and Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are also in the race, with the London club considered Real's main competition.

However, the Spanish colossus has already taken the first step. According to information from “SPORT”, contact has been made with the player's entourage and the initial response has been encouraging. Madrid are determined to ensure that Huysen signs with them.

Last summer, Real Madrid decided not to invest a significant amount for Lenny Yoro, who eventually moved to Manchester United. Now Huysen could cost around the same amount - his release clause in his contract with Bournemouth is 50 million pounds (around 60 million euros).

However, the defender is considered to be a better fit for the profile that Madrid are looking for. Huysen is left-footed, which provides better balance in the defensive line - something that Yoro could not offer.

Furthermore, the fact that he is Spanish is also an advantage: there is no language barrier and it will contribute to increasing the number of national players in the squad, which is key to the club's image. Although “The White Ballet” does not yet see the signing of a new central defender as an urgent priority, the situation in the team shows the need for more depth in this position.

David Alaba has already returned to the pitch, and Eder Militao is expected to be fully fit for next season. However, the last two years have revealed a serious problem with the lack of sufficient rotation in the center of defense. In addition, Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger's contracts expire in 2026, and both are now entering the final stages of their careers.

Bringing Huysen now would ensure a smooth transition to the next generation of defenders at Real Madrid. According to “MARCA”, the sports and technical staff of the “Kings” have long been monitoring the youngster's development, but after his recent appearances for the Spanish national team, the management's interest has intensified further.
