Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti gave a press conference a day after it was announced that he was leaving the Spanish giants and becoming Brazil coach, BTA reported.
The Italian spoke before the match with Mallorca, but was forced to answer questions only about his future.
"It would be fantastic not to have a press conference because there are things that I can't explain because I'm still at Real and I respect the club's jersey. I'll do it until the last day here," said the specialist.
"From May 26, I will be Brazil coach and it's a big challenge, but I want to finish my fantastic adventure here first. I know you care what I think and what I want, but I have great respect for the fans and the players here," Ancelotti added.
"I always knew that one day I would end my job here. I thought it over very well. Football is like life - everything begins and ends. I have never had a problem with the club and I never will. We have won a lot and there will be memories for a lifetime," the coach also said.
"If they had told me that at Real we would win 11 trophies in four years, I would have signed with my own blood. It was an unforgettable period," he is categorical. "I can't complain about anything and I want to have a great last few days. I had the best and the titles prove it," Ancelotti believes.
"I have never felt that the club didn't want me, they have always shown me their love. "I can't coach Real Madrid for the rest of my life. Maybe the team needs a new impulse. There's no need to make a drama out of it. A thousand thanks to the club. It will be from Real Madrid for the rest of my life. I never believed I could coach Real Madrid for six years, and that's what happened. Not everything was perfect, but there were unforgettable nights in Madrid," he recalled.
