Prince-Osei Owusu scored an early goal for Montreal in the 2nd minute, but Inter came back to the fore by the break with goals from Tadeo Allende (33) and Lionel Messi (40).
Sergio Busquets was booked in the second half, but his teammates scored two more goals. First, Telasco Segovia gave his team a comfortable two-goal lead in the 60th minute, and in the 62nd minute, Messi scored his second goal of the match, which also shaped the final score.
