Marc Marquez won the Austrian Grand Prix in the MotoGP class of the World Championship in motorcycling. The Spaniard from the Ducati team finished in 42:11.006 minutes, BTA reported.

Marquez, who is a six-time champion in the "royal class", triumphed for the first time on Austrian soil and increased his lead in the general classification over his brother Alex to 142 points.

Fermin Aldeguer finished 1.118 seconds behind, and Marco Bedszeki came third, 3.426 seconds behind Marquez.

Nine rounds before the end of the season, Marc Marquez is the leader in the general classification with 418 points after his ninth victory of the season and sixth consecutive. In second place is Alex Marquez with 276 points. Italian Francesco Banaia is third with 221 points.

Diogo Moreira from Italtrans Racing Team triumphed in Moto2. The Brazilian finished in 36:05.20 minutes on the "Red Bull Ring" track.

2.375 seconds behind him was Spaniard Daniel Olgado, and third was Celestino Vietti. The Italian motorcyclist finished 5.351 seconds behind Diogo Moreira, who achieved his second victory in 2025.

In the general classification, Manuel Gonzalez leads with 188 points. Today, the Spaniard crashed out in the seventh lap of the race. In second place is his compatriot Aron Canet with 169 points. Third so far is Diogo Moreira with 153 points.

In the race for the Austrian Grand Prix in the Moto3 class, the winner was Angel Piqueras. The Spanish rider from the Frinsa team finished in 33:36.516 minutes. Japanese Ryusei Yamanaka finished second, 0.096 seconds behind Piqueras, who achieved his third victory of the season.

Third was another Spaniard, David Muñoz, 0.171 seconds behind today's leader.

The leader in the general classification is José Rueda with 239 points. The Spanish motorcyclist from the Red Bull team crossed the final straight fifth in Austria.

In second place is Angel Piqueras with 168 points, while third is David Muñoz with 139 points.
