Kalin Todorov before FACTS: Ivan Geshev's problem is that he only tells part of the truth (VIDEO) - 1

We see yet another unique symbiosis between democratic forces and the backstage in an “assemblage“, and then this “assemblage“ disassembled. I expect that these events related to the removal of Ivan Geshev from the post of chief prosecutor will affect the elections and their results. I expect that they will also influence the next “assembly”, which, in my opinion, will again be assembled between those who call themselves democratic forces and the backstage. This is what he announced to Lili Marinkova in the "FACTS" studio. and the show “Conversation“ the journalist Kalin Todorov.

“I think that Ivan Geshev's problem is that he tells only part of the truth. More precisely, that part that is in his interest. He doesn't talk about its creation, he doesn't talk about his connections with Delyan Peevski, but about his connections with Borisov. You remember that there was a recording in which Geshev addressed Borisov as “boss“ and how they both act crazy. But this does not mean that Ivan Geshev does not speak truths. One of these truths is that Borissov was at the root of his forceful removal from office. When the backstage fell out of love with Ivan Geshev and preferred to turn him into a scapegoat, then he tried to emancipate himself and tried to remove Borisov's immunity, to reopen the “Barcelonagate” case. After all, Geshev himself said that if he had remained in office any longer, he would have arrested Borisov, Todorov added.

“Let us also remember how Geshev was first offered the carrot and then the stick. There was an offer to become ambassador to Turkey or Israel, and when he refused, he received a letter. All this happened at the dictation of Borisov and Peevski. When Geshev fell, the democratic forces hoped that with this overthrow of the chief prosecutor, some kind of judicial reform could begin, but this turned out to be an absolute illusion, the guest also said.
