Ivan Takov before FACTS: All our concern now comes from the fragmented left at the moment (VIDEO)

I am not at war with the BSP, because it is my party. There is no way I can fight with the BSP, with my own party. It's just that there were certain interests that, as a position of the city organization during the local elections, certain people did not like it, and because of that, things happened that way. But this is not a drama at the moment, because the “2 in 1” elections are coming up. All our anxiety now comes from the fractured left at the moment. And this is something that happens right after the local elections. Look, we did in Sofia and showed that the model of unification of all left parties can happen in the capital. And that means it can happen at the national level as well. Unfortunately, it didn't happen in left space. There are too many small representatives in it today for the votes that are in it. And for me this is a problem, because it appears that the left will not be well represented in the next parliament, and this is not good for the country. “What we did in the Metropolitan Municipality with the election of the chairman of the municipal council is a compromise, but it is not an “assembly”. Then we did not support the budget, which was voted and supported by GERB. This was a real GERB budget, but slightly transformed, despite the requests of the new rulers. Currently, the Metropolitan Municipality continues to make the mistakes that have been made over the years. Things are happening too slowly in the investment program, which is 620 million. We have to see what the implementation of the program will be in the half year, what will be reported. We are waiting for the data. During these six months, we have an extremely low level of performance, because nothing happens in the city, but a lot of nonsense is done – such as the change of traffic in the center of Sofia, the suspended lifts of Vitosha“, added the guest.

“WE are not afraid of work, because there are many things to be done in transport and healthcare. Throughout the campaign, we talked about how we can make Sofia a different, different city. Look, the Metropolitan Municipality is a very large employer in the field of health care and public transport, so there is a lot to be done for the working citizens of Sofia, but at the moment the problems are piling up, and solutions are not being looked for,“, Takov also shared.
