I can say that Evelyn Banev-Brendo is an extremely serious underground player. He never does anything by accident. For his voluntary surrender yesterday, two questions are important to me that point us to a certain way of thinking. First, why did you do it yesterday? It is a public secret that Brendo has been in Bulgaria for two years, that he lives in the house across from Residence "Boyana". It is important why exactly yesterday he decided to go to prison. Obviously, in Bulgaria it is not the judge and the prosecutor who decide when a person will go to prison, but he himself decides. Except that he chose yesterday, which was a significant day, because yesterday the consultations on forming a government began. The president met with the most serious parties. The other interesting fact for me is that he brought a TV crew with him. Brendo wanted to make public the fact that he was going to prison. And that he enters of his own accord.

These two things make me think that we can look for some analogy with the case of Alexey Petrov before the compilation of the assemblage. Let's recall what happened there: Alexey Petrov was the guarantor and the engine for the compilation of assembly. She got up. And then they killed him. Whether there was a connection between the two events we cannot be 100% sure. But if we try to make an analogy, we come to the conclusion that if Brendo is the new engine and guarantor of the assembly, he, with this entry into prison, wants to anticipate the events that happened on the Tractor. "I arrange your assembly, but this time, unlike the Tractor, I will not let you get rid of me". That's how things look to me.
The contract that I imagine being made is: "I arrange the assembly, these things are done with money and blackmail. Traktor probably once paid whoever had to agree to go on this suicidal option called assembly. Or blackmailed someone into making the assembly. This means at least two things: The one who assembles, and will be part of the power, has also made some commitments. And he should fulfill them. To the best of my recollection, Alexei claimed at the time, but there may be more to it, that he wanted to take over economic intelligence. He wanted a high position in the National Academy of Sciences in the field of economics and finance. He may have been promised something more. As if he wanted something more.
That's the one. The one who comes to power and is unwilling or unable to fulfill the commitments made in advance, it is best for him to get rid of the one who insists on getting his part of the bargain.
And the second - this is how a very unpleasant witness is removed. A man who knows too much about exactly how things turned out. And at any moment he could speak.
In the case of Brendo, what might have happened: Brendo, unlike the Tractor, does not have his power of authority. All Brendo has is money. He has an awful lot of money. He is probably the richest person in Bulgaria, why not one of the richest people in Europe. Many of the supposedly big Bulgarian oligarchs, I know for sure about Cherepa, practically laundered Brendo's money.
