Orhan Ismailov in front of FACTS: The moment is right for Radev to enter the political scene - 1

What I also heard at the consultations with the president, Kostadin Kostadinov, requested that the CSNS be convened and imagine what for: For the election of a patriarch. I do not see any logic, since according to the Constitution, religions are outside the state. If we go back in time, I, as a member of the commission and vice-chairman for files, even then I remember, the members of the Holy Synod that we checked, somewhere around 75-80 percent, 2/3 belonged to the DS and the former secrets services of the communist regime. Because tomorrow or the next day, the DPS may request the convening of the KSNS for the election of a chief mufti. For me, these are untenable things. Perhaps in some way they are looking for another niche with which to enter the hearts of the lay people in Bulgaria.
Orhan Ismailov, former deputy minister of defense and leader of the "Freedom and Dignity" party, commented on this in the FACTS studio to Lili Marinkova. Here is more of his reasoning:
What is currently happening, this political roulette, what is it due to? These are personal relationships. Why DPS is not enough even for Borissov for cabinet. We heard the leader of GERB say that he will offer a cabinet to the minority. This means that he does not want to formalize even with DPS this assembly or this non-coalition. And whatever it is. Why? Because Borisov is very well aware that the weight that Peevski has in DP, this will reduce his weight as people's representatives by half.
The role of the National Security Advisory Council is significant when there is shared responsibility and when the president can lead that process. At the moment, we see that he does not want to lead this process, because I have the feeling that he does not trust these political forces that are in the parliament.
I think that the moment is right for Radev to enter the political scene in the event of elections, because there are also good opportunities. Let him show whether the Bulgarian people will support him in order to save our country from this political crisis. President Radev is in his second term, he has gained political experience, he is monitoring the processes. Let us not forget that he several times, before they changed the Constitution, he ruled the country with his representatives in the executive power - the service cabinets. At the moment, even what they tried to do, they did not do it as must. In recent years in parliament, the level has been getting lower and lower. We do not have competent experts, representatives. Now what did we do? Let's thank Dimitar Glavchev for accepting to be acting prime minister. That if he hadn't accepted, maybe we wouldn't have a Prime Minister right now. Some resigned, others sat on their laps, others resigned and left for Brussels.
