The head of state announced that he had ordered an acceleration of weapons production in the United States.
Trump noted that the United States has "the best weapons". "And if you noticed, I said let's make them faster and in greater quantities, because we need them all to be made in America," he said.
The Washington administration announced earlier this month that representatives of leading weapons manufacturers, including BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3Harris Missile Solutions, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, had agreed to quadruple their weapons production.
