The United States does not cooperate with Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory, John Kirby, coordinator, told RIA Novosti on strategic communications in the National Security Council.
On Friday, the authorities of the Krasnodar region announced that Ukrainian drones had attacked Tuapse. After the drone fell, a fire broke out on the territory of the oil refinery, which was later completely extinguished.
„We do not encourage or facilitate attacks on Russian territory,” Kirby said when asked about new Ukrainian drone attacks, including against the oil refinery in Tuapse.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing Pentagon officials, that Ukrainian authorities have asked the United States to lift restrictions on the use of weapons transferred to them and allow them to attack military targets in territory the West recognizes as Russian.
