The Russian military has begun to use the waters of the Sea of Azov to deploy their ships and launch "Calibre" missiles from them. This was announced by the spokesman of the Operational Command "South" Dmitry Pletenchuk on the air of the telethon, commenting on the night air attack of the Russians, reports UNIAN.
"Four missiles (type "Caliber“ – ed.) were launched from the Sea of Azov, and this is an important turning point, because they use it, considering it a safer water area than the Black Sea," Pletnchuk explained.< br />
According to him, the Air Force of Ukraine shot down all "Caliber" missiles. Pletenchuk noted that the effectiveness of this type of missiles is no longer the same as at the beginning of the war, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces know how to deal with them.
"However, this fact is also unpleasant, because they decided that they could use the Sea of Azov, among other things, to station their ships, but of course, they apparently forget that the Sea of Azov is also quite close to us“, commented Pletenchuk.
The Russians continue to fire at Ukraine with "Caliber" missiles, but already from the Sea of Azov
The effectiveness of this type of missiles is no longer the same as at the beginning of the war, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces obviously know how to deal with them
