Israeli armored vehicles entered the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, reported The Jerusalem Post.

Earlier, the IDF said its fighter jets and drones struck 35 targets in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, including a rocket launcher in Khan Younis. Troops also continued to operate in Rafah in the southern part of the enclave, including the 401st Armored Brigade "Iquot ha-Barzel" in the northwestern part of the city, as well as the "Givati" brigade.
In addition, on Monday, the Israeli military again struck positions of "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that fighter jets carried out airstrikes near the areas of Chihin, Mays al-Jebel and Kfar Shuba in order to "eliminate threats".
The military in Israel said they had intercepted "numerous" rockets into northern Israel fired from Lebanon. No casualties were reported.
