The war will surely end because this is a natural process, but further it will be difficult: it is in Ukraine that global issues will be decided, which will have decisive consequences for history and humanity as a whole.
This was commented by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GRU), reports Informator, quoted by FOCUS.
"Even after the end of the war, it will be very difficult for the Ukrainians. People will be faced with new tasks. And the future course of history depends on how we deal with it," commented Budanov during his speech to the graduates of the Kyiv School of Economics.
"The war will definitely end and this is a natural process. After that, however, Ukraine will face other tasks, no less important and no less difficult. It always is when a nation decides to follow its own untrodden path. And that's normal. According to Budanov, any forward movement is met with resistance. And if it is difficult, "it means we are doing everything right". In this context, he recalls the words of American General George Patton, hero of two world wars: "Don't stop. Who should be first, why not you?"
"And we will defeat all enemies. Remember - you should always be first, number one. Never try to be "as good as everyone else". Fate has chosen us - you and I happened to live and learn in extraordinary times. Right now and right here, in Ukraine, global issues are being resolved with our participation, which will have decisive consequences for the history of our country and for humanity as a whole," Budanov emphasizes.
