By the end of November, Ukraine will develop an action plan to achieve peace. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on this in an interview with the Japanese TV channel NHK, reports FOCUS.
According to Zelensky, Kiev will start "detailed discussions with the relevant countries on the issues of territorial integrity of Ukraine".
In addition, Zelensky has emphasized that he "cannot respond to calls for a ceasefire while Russia continues to occupy Ukrainian territory". Ending the war requires "patience, support and diplomatic pressure – these are the three factors for a just end to war".
He added that if the US and European countries remain united, it will increase the pressure and show Moscow that it has no chance.
Zelensky also touched on the topic of a possible victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections in the USA.
Officials in Kiev have contacted Trump's campaign staff and US Vice President Kamala Harris this month. Zelensky announced that during the telephone conversation he invited Trump to visit Ukraine.
Zelensky also emphasized the importance of support from Japan.
