Police are looking for a man in connection with the deaths of three people who earlier this month, they died in a house fire in Washington state after being shot earlier, the Associated Press reported, citing BTA.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 49-year-old Jason M. Beerman, who lived at the home and was married to one of the victims, the Mount Vernon Police Department said in a news release over the weekend. Last week, police said they were looking for a blue "Chevrolet" from 1994 to Birman.

The victims of the Aug. 9 fire in the small town of Concrete have been identified as 52-year-old Erin Bierman, her 19-year-old son Taylor Dawson and 18-year-old Jillian Van Boven, who was dating Dawson.

The Skagit County Medical Examiner's Office determined that all three victims had been shot and that the gunshots contributed to their deaths.

Authorities were called to the fire on the morning of August 9. The fire destroyed the two-story house and it took several days to find the bodies, police said. Investigators from multiple agencies, including the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, spent six days investigating the scene, police said.

Investigators believe Jason Beerman was in the home before the fire started, police said. After the fire, Birman and his car are missing. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Mount Vernon police.
