The wife of ousted Syrian President Bashar Assad, Asma, is unhappy with life in Moscow and has filed for divorce, the Jerusalem Post reports.
It is noted that the politician's wife has already appealed to a Russian court and requested special permission to leave Moscow. Her application is currently being considered by the Russian authorities.
According to the publication, Asma Assad intends to return to her homeland - Britain. She was born and raised in London in the family of her Syrian parents.
