Three airports in the cities of Nizhnekamsk, Izhevsk and Perm in Russia temporarily suspended all arriving and departing flights from 10:05 a.m. local time today to ensure the safety of passenger aircraft, the Russian air transport supervision service "Rosaviatsia" reported, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The agency notes that "Rosaviatsia" did not specify a reason for the temporary suspension of operations, but Russian airports have previously closed when there is a risk of attacks by Ukrainian drones in the area.
The three Russian cities are located east of Moscow.
