Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on the social network X that Kiev forces had captured North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. According to him, the two seriously wounded North Koreans were transported to Kiev, where they are communicating with the Ukrainian security services.
Zelensky emphasized that their capture was not an easy task. According to him, the North Koreans usually execute wounded soldiers to cover up evidence of their participation in the war against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian head of state expressed gratitude to the soldiers of the 84th tactical group of special forces and paratroopers who captured the two North Koreans. He assured that, like all prisoners of war, the two North Koreans are receiving the necessary medical care.
Zelensky indicated that he had instructed the security services to provide journalists with access to the captured soldiers. According to him, the world needs to know the truth about what is happening.
