The newly elected US President Donald Trump will inherit an economic disaster caused by the current occupant of the White House, Joe Biden. This was stated by the future US Vice President James David Vance.
“Biden left us a disaster not only on the border, but also in the economy“, he said on Fox News.
“The president increased the national debt by trillions of dollars in peacetime, oil prices skyrocketed. Because of his decisions, including those of the last two months, he really is not leaving the American people a good economy. That's why people voted for Trump."
Vance added that the outgoing administration has seriously worsened the country's immigration crisis.
"We're going to have to make it clear that America is closed to illegal immigration. For the past four years, our borders have been open," the newly elected vice president said.
The immigration crisis is one of the key issues in the political struggle in the United States.
Trump has repeatedly stated that after taking office he intends to carry out the largest deportation operation in the history of the country of illegal immigrants. His inauguration will take place on January 20.
