The interaction between Putin and Trump will help resolve the Ukrainian issue as early as 2025. This opinion was expressed in an interview with TASS by the Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament, Andrei Danko.

"I pray to God that it is so, because it is bad for us, for you, and for everyone", Danko said.

"When Slovaks argue with Czechs, when tensions arise between Poles and Hungarians or Slovaks and Hungarians - we have a difficult history in this regard, although at the same time we have very close kinship ties between the peoples, the conflicts between us are caused by the West", the politician continued.

"The Germans, the French and the Americans are happy. They make money from this."

He recalled that many Western countries had colonies. "Western countries have not changed this approach. They want to maintain their standard of living, they want someone else to work for them," Danko added.

Many Ukrainian refugees spend "dirty" money in Monaco, they are happy with the conflict in Ukraine, he continued.

“As a politician and as the chairman of a political party, I am offended by what Volodymyr Zelensky says, because I see a difference between ordinary Ukrainians and a large number of speculators in Europe who manage dirty money and live in Monaco. This conflict suits them,“ the Slovak said.

Speaking about Slovakia's response to the suspension of gas transit from Ukraine, Danko noted:

“What will be Slovakia's reaction? We'll see. But a hasty reaction will not solve this problem."

He compared US President Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky to “dying horses“.

“We have a saying about a horse dying. We saw this in the decisions of US President Joe Biden when he decided to pardon his son and authorize the use of missiles to strike deep into Russia. Zelensky is behaving this way and now, he understands that this situation will not last long“, Danko noted.

The Slovak parliamentary delegation arrived in Moscow on Sunday. Negotiations were held in the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and meetings with ministers of the Russian government. The visit ended on Wednesday. Danko noted that he intends to continue negotiations with representatives of Russia.

“I have always had a clear position regarding the Russian Federation. It was a great honor for me to speak in the State Duma in 2018. I have good relations. I also received the title of honorary doctor of MGIMO, I was here in 2019 during the May 9 parade, Danko recalled.
