Solovyov: We will deploy Russian peacekeepers in Paris - 1

A series of threats were made on Russian television to Western countries about a possible world war if NATO deploys its troops in Ukraine, against which Vladimir Putin has been waging a full-scale war for nearly 3 years.

Host Vladimir Solovyov stated in his program that “peacekeepers are needed“, so Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in Paris, Rome and Lisbon.

The threat comes against the backdrop of ongoing discussions on how the war in Ukraine can be stopped and what guarantees Kiev will receive against a future Russian attack.

For the first time, French President Emmanuel Macron openly spoke about the deployment of Western forces in Ukraine, but his call met with serious resistance among NATO allies, including the United States and Germany. The alliance has not yet decided to send forces to Ukraine, and it is unlikely that it will while there is active fighting there.

The new US President Donald Trump has said that if Moscow does not make a deal with Ukraine now, "he will have no choice but to impose high levels of tariffs, taxes and sanctions on everything that Russia sells to the US and other countries". During his election campaign, Trump promised to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours, without revealing how he would get Putin to stop the war.
