The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova rejected "any insinuations" about the possibility of Russian interference in the elections in Romania.
"Romanian Foreign Ministry: "In the second round of the presidential elections, signs of Russian interference were found", the diplomat noted on her Telegram channel. "First, I would ask that this not be called an election."
„Second, it is impossible to interfere in such a thing, you can only bring trouble on yourself", said Zakharova. "So do not let them tarnish anyone with their pre-election slander. Let them clean themselves up!", the Russian diplomat said.
