Units of the Russian mechanized infantry have reached the western border of the Ukrainian Donetsk region and, together with a tank division, are continuing their offensive in the neighboring Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported, quoted by Reuters, which noted that it could not confirm the information through an independent source, BTA reports.

The "East" troop group has reached the western border of the Donetsk People's Republic and is developing an offensive in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A motorized rifle brigade has joined the tank division of the "Center" troop group in this region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported, quoted by TASS.

"The "Center" group of troops continues to advance deep into the enemy's defenses. Units of the 55th Motorized Rifle Brigade have reached the western border of the Donetsk People's Republic and, together with the assault units of the 90th Tank Division, are continuing offensive operations on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region, TASS added.
