Tehran “will burn” if Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei orders continued missile attacks on Israel. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made the warning at a meeting.
“If Khamenei continues to fire missiles at Israeli targets, Tehran will burn“, Katz said, as quoted by the Ynet news website.
According to Katz, “the Iranian dictator is taking Iranian citizens hostage and creating a reality in which they, especially the residents of Tehran, will pay a high price for the criminal attack on Israeli citizens“.
During this meeting, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, and the Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Tomer Bar, announced plans to strike targets in Tehran.
Earlier on June 14, the army press service reportedthat Israeli Air Force fighter jets had attacked dozens of air defense targets in the Tehran area overnight.
