Maria Zakharova: This will be a catastrophe not only for the regions, but also for the entire world as a whole

The world is centimeters away from a nuclear catastrophe due to Israeli strikes on Iranian territory. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at the XIX General Assembly of the OANA, TASS reports, quoted by BTA.

"We are literally centimeters away from a nuclear catastrophe. The strikes are carried out, I understand that they are called point strikes, I understand that they are called selective strikes, but they are carried out literally in close proximity - I don't know what they are measured in, centimeters, millimeters, meters, decimeters, but in close proximity to objects where radioactive materials, nuclear materials are located,“ the diplomat notes.

"Today, strikes are being carried out on objects where there is nuclear material. Isn't this a real nuclear threat? As you understand, radiation will not ask anyone whether it can cross the border or not“, emphasizes Zakharova.
