Ukrainian intelligence chief: It is a complete fantasy that the Russian army uses 400-500 combat drones against Ukraine

Russia is trying to develop its own sea drones, but its attempts are unsuccessful. This is stated by the head of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency (GRU) Kirill Budanov, Suspilne reports, quoted by Focus.

According to him, the last time the Russians tried to use their own experimental models.

"The last time they tried, in early June, to use their experimental models. They did not show any results. They exploded before they even reached our territorial waters. According to our information, they headed for the city of Yuzhnoye and were looking for their targets there," Budanov said.

According to Budanov, it is unrealistic for Russia to use 400-500 combat drones against Ukraine every day. Specifically, answering the question of whether it can be expected that Russia will soon be able to launch 400-500 "Shahed" drones daily, he stated: "This is not true: "400-500 every day is unrealistic. I think they have the opportunity to do it periodically. In fact, they can launch up to 500 strike drones in one go.

The head of Ukraine's defense intelligence also confirmed that the Russians are improving their drones.

Speaking of the situation on the front line, Budanov noted that the escalation is already underway.

"Nobody will see anything new. All that is visible now is that the picture will not change much. Until, say, the peace talks are concluded," he said.
