Russia insists that the topic of reducing NATO troops be part of all talks on the future of Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, quoted by “Reuters“, reports News.bg.
“In the last few days, we have heard that the Russians would very much like to include in the discussions on the future of Ukraine the issue of reducing NATO's presence, for example in Poland“, Tusk said.
He stressed the importance of a strong international coalition: “That is why it is so important to build a strong and united alliance both towards Russia and towards our other partners, including the United States.“
