President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the event marking the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), commented on the steps taken and achievements in the last 24 years:
„Turkey has been given a historic opportunity to solve its chronic problem“.
Speaking at the event marking the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Justice and Development Party, President Erdogan said: „The families of our martyrs know why we took such a risk. Our opponents and adversaries, similarly, know what a Turkey without terror means. I hereby state once again that Turkey has been given a historic opportunity to solve its most chronic problem. We will not let it go to waste.
President and Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Erdogan delivered a speech at the event marking the 24th anniversary of the party's founding in Ankara. “We have left our mark on every inch of our 81 provinces through historic investment mobilization“.
"24 years ago, we made a new beginning and opened a completely new path in Turkey. With the blessing of Allah, the support of our nation and the support of our youth, we did not shatter the hopes of those who believed in us since August 14, but on the contrary, we increased, supported and strengthened these hopes. We left our mark on every inch of our 81 provinces through a historic mobilization of investments, services, construction works and projects," Erdoğan said.
„Our goal is to completely eliminate the possibility and threat of terror“
Draw attention to the process of a terror-free Turkey, President Erdoğan said: „With this process, we aim not only to solve the problem of terror, but also to completely eliminate the possibility and threat of terror. We want to tear down this wall erected between the nation, to strengthen our eternal brotherhood and to build the future together. In a short period of time, in this process, which we initiated together as the People's Alliance and then managed together as a state policy, a very significant path has been covered. The Committee on National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy allowed for the greatest possible participation of the parliament in the process. Its first three meetings were held in a very fruitful atmosphere. We hope that this constructive atmosphere will be maintained. By demonstrating a sincere position for the success of the process, the People's Alliance has shown that it is on the side of the solution and dialogue. We hope that other political parties will also act in good faith. I hope and wish that this sense of responsibility to the people will become stronger and stronger in the field of politics“.

Pointing out the steps taken to consolidate the institutional capacity of the state and strengthen Turkey's strategic capabilities in the fields of security, defense, foreign policy and economy, President Erdoğan added: “It is also a well-known fact that while a new game is being played in our region, a new equation is being established in the world. It is now openly stated that Turkey is surrounded by a “zone of instability“. The perpetrators of the genocide in Gaza do not even feel the need to hide their intentions towards our country. From Syria to the Eastern Mediterranean and from the Balkans to Africa, we are all witnessing clear signs of this “anti-Turkish“ policy. Of course, we are aware of what is being attempted. We also have enough power, foresight, experience and determination to break through the attempts at encirclement. Fortunately, we are thwarting this policy aimed at weakening our country from within and exhausting it from without".
