Zakharova: The crime against Daria Dugina has no statute of limitations - 1

The crime against the Russian journalist and political scientist Daria Dugina has no statute of limitations, those responsible for its commission will be found and will face inevitable punishment. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

„Three years ago, a terrorist attack organized by the Ukrainian special services took the life of the Russian journalist, publicist and public figure Daria Dugina (Platonova). The crime against Daria Dugina has no statute of limitations. "Those responsible for its commission will be found and will inevitably suffer punishment," the diplomat noted.

As Zakharova emphasized, neither Western countries nor specialized international structures subordinate to them reacted to this murder, as well as to other crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against journalists and war correspondents.

She added that "the Kiev regime continues to eradicate dissent" and persecutes representatives of the Russian media sphere, using the patronage of its curators.

„We honor the feat of all media workers who died in the performance of their official duty, and we will do everything to bring to justice those responsible for these atrocities," Zakharova added.

According to the representative of the diplomatic department, Dugina's fate has become for many people a symbol of service to the homeland, selflessness and loyalty to ideals. In Russia and abroad, the memory of Daria and her legacy are preserved, Zakharova emphasized.

“Her books are published in large circulations, numerous initiatives and projects are implemented, including the international youth award “Russian Frontier“, a public award - a medal “For Fidelity to the Russian World and Traditional Values“. Streets of Russian cities are named after Daria Dugina, and her image is immortalized on memorial murals and memorial signs. This year, a monument to the brave journalist by sculptor D. Alexandrov was erected in the park “Zakharovo“ in the Odintsovo district of Moscow,“ the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.“
