The US State Department has approved the potential sale of Patriot air defense systems and related equipment to Ukraine for a total of $179.1 million, the Pentagon announced.
The main contractors will be RTX Corp and Lockheed Martin, the Pentagon said in a statement, the BBC reported.
Yesterday it became known that the State Department has approved the sale of over 3,000 ERAM cruise missiles to Ukraine. The value of this purchase is estimated at $825 million.
