About 18,000 tons of military cargo are sent to Ukraine through Poland every month, said the Deputy Commander of NATO Security and Readiness Command Ukraine (NSATU) Mike Keller.

"Our largest logistics hub is located in Poland, and another, smaller one, is in Romania, which is not currently under the command of NSATU, but will also come under its command over time.

So we have two centers, the largest of which, as I said, is located in Poland, with a volume of transportation of 18,000 tons per month", Keller said, quoted by Ukrainian media.

He noted that the cargo is transported "by land, rail and air", but mainly by road transport.

"We are trying to do this as inconspicuously as possible and to date 60 thousand transports have been carried out without serious incidents," the NATO representative emphasized.
