As a stress test for the system, which GERB has successfully passed, Delyan Dobrev defined the recently spread allegations that he is leaving the party.

For the 11th time, he is leading a full list with 16 candidates for MPs in 29 MIR-Haskovo, and today, together with some of them, he also submitted documents for registration at the REC.

As expected, the record holder in preferences Georgi Stankov from Lyubimets is in second place again. The previous MP Ivan Minev is not on the list. This time, there is not a single mayor among the GERB candidates for deputies, Delyan Dobrev announced, commenting that the list cannot be the same every time.

His expectations for the election results in the region are that the party will receive two mandates this time. How much we want and how many we will get are different things. We want three, but realistically, maybe this time there will be two, he commented. And he added that "the battle for Haskovo will be contested again". He did not want to say in which other electoral district he will lead the list.

Dobrev also briefly commented on the rumors that he is leaving GERB:

"This was a stress test for the system and it passed it successfully. As you can see, my political death is not a fact. There is no conflict and no intrigue in GERB."

Today, two more parties submitted documents for registration at the Haskovo Electoral Commission. Five are the candidates of "Unrepentant Bulgaria" led by Smilyana Nitova, who was a BSP MP several times in the past.

Three are on the list of the "Shine" coalition, which is led in Haskovo by Lyudmil Lazarov.

The MECH party also registered a 5-member list in Haskovo, led by Svetoslav Lavchiev.

Another 8 parties and coalitions have been registered so far at the Haskovo Electoral Commission.
