"If the president, before the changes in the Constitution, could bet on a figure who has public trust without being part of current political life, now this cannot happen". p>

This was stated by the MP from "There is such a people" Ivaylo Valchev in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".

After the changes in the basic law, the president has the right to choose an acting prime minister from among the chairman of the National Assembly, the head of the BNB and the Audit Chamber, their deputies, the ombudsman or his deputy. the election decreased by one person after the deputy ombudsman Elena Cherneva-Markova resigned earlier today.

He recalled that each one of them, even if they are not part of any party, takes their post after a political appointment. Valchev did not undertake to comment on whether Elena Cherneva-Markova left in order not to become part of the merry-go-round with the caretaker government.

Before Bulgaria ON AIR, he said that for ITN elections, 2 in 1 is a good option.

"The question is purely technical, there are things that still need to happen and whether they will be able to fit everyone in at this time, we have no way of knowing. We are about to be experienced bunnies. According to the drafters of these texts of the Constitution, this option may have seemed unlikely, but it appears at the first possible moment", Valchev added.

The deputy does not expect President Radev to deliberately delay the formation of a caretaker government, as he has shown that he does not want the current administration to last long.

"We looked at things in which logic is not the leading thing," Valchev added.

If ITN gets the third mandate, it will return it, declared the party's position once again. According to him, the elections will rearrange the political picture.

"The attitude will be different between the entities that will enter. Those who want everything without winning an election won't be so pushy. This coexistence in PP-DB does not seem to me to be long-lasting. If some want to make reforms and have a vision of governance for years ahead, and others think several million ahead, I don't see what can bring them together", stated Ivaylo Valchev.
