A fire is burning on the southern slopes of Vitosha. The flames are above the village of Chuipetlovo in Perni near the sources of the river Struma.
This was announced by the Southwest State Enterprise, on whose territory the mountain is.
Forest officials are trying to put out the fire before it covers a larger area. A helicopter also helps in extinguishing.
