This means that voter turnout is likely to drop in the upcoming elections. In the last two years, the inability of political leaders to make compromises, parties to talk to the public and to do what they were sent to the National Assembly to do.
This is what the political scientist Georgi Kiryakov said in “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS. He is of the opinion that “same people, same policies” they cannot lead to a different result.
„The thesis that we cannot hold fair elections and that there is always someone to steal them is the explanation why we cannot form a government. We do not see the cause in ourselves, political strategies do not change, new dialogue with the citizens is not sought, but we point out the culprits. This leads to a record low voter turnout and parties that are about to become part of the history of Bulgarian politics, said political scientist Hristo Panchugov.
