The eco-trail connects the Golden Bridges and the district of “Knyazhevo”. In April, reports were made and promises of inspections received. Four months later, the route still remains fenced off, bTV recalls.
The alley is surrounded by metal fences, on which a sign is placed: “Private property”.
For this reason, citizens are preparing a protest.
„We understand that it will be built. This place has always been a forest. We have no explanation as to how this thing happened. The land was taken out of the forest fund. It was then returned as farmland. After that, development plans, building permits were issued,”, pointed out Asen Valchev, organizer of the protest.
From the “Vitosha“ they say the fence in question has a design visa issued in 2023 by the old management.
People do not agree to change their routes and use alternative paths. They are demanding that the trail be reopened.
