Nikolay Naydenov is the new executive director of the Sofia Metro. After complying with all applicable statutory deadlines and regulations in the Republic of Bulgaria, the change was reflected in the commercial register at the Registry Agency.
The current executive director, Prof. Dr. Eng. Stoyan Bratoev, remains a member of the Council of Metropolitan EAD, ensuring continuity in the management and development of the company.
Naydenov has extensive experience in the field of transport. Over the years, he has been an advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, and then Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
His professional career spans through “Information Services“ AD, “Holding BDZ“ EAD, “Road Infrastructure“ Agency, “Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises“, “Capital Autotransport“, SE “National Railway Infrastructure Company“.
He has a Master's degree in “Law“, as well as a “Manager of Human Resources Management and Development“.
