In all bilateral relations, the most important are the connections between people. It is a real pleasure to understand how much the Japanese know about Bulgaria, how much they love our country. For years, we have been developing relations of true friendship, mutual trust and respect. For me, this is the most important message. This is what President Rumen Radev said before the audience with Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo.
„It is no coincidence that I am the one invited to this audience by Emperor Naruhito, and tomorrow I will have a meeting with the prime minister, at which we will sign an agreement to elevate our relations to the level of strategic partnership. This is an important and logical consequence of all these relations in our increasingly dynamic sectoral cooperation. Yesterday's day at the exhibition in Osaka was also a pleasure”, the president explained.
“Our pavilion, which attracts thousands of visitors every day who can experience not only the rich culture, traditions, and history of the country, but also presents the contemporary image of Bulgaria. Our homeland is already known not only for its yogurt. There is no Japanese person who does not know about yogurt. This is an incredible advertisement for us. Bulgaria is already known as a country that develops high technologies and we are doing this together with Japan. Here the prospects are huge both in the field of information technologies and in the field of artificial intelligence. The declaration that we will sign with the prime minister, the audience with the emperor, give another perspective and open many doors”, added Radev.
