An 11-year-old child almost drowned on the North Central Beach in Primorsko, police said.
The incident was reported on June 7. The boy is from Gabrovo and was playing in the water with other children while his mother and aunt were on the sand.
He was pulled into the sea and began to drown. He was pulled from the water by a 39-year-old man from Lovech.
A beach medic began performing CPR on him until the ambulance arrived.
The child was admitted to the University Hospital-Burgas - with pulmonary edema and life-threatening conditions.
