From July 12, all driving schools with GPS application for courses and exams VIDEO

Each hour is validated with the signature of the candidate driver, the Minister of Transport also informed

From July 12, 2025, all driving schools must use a GPS application when conducting driving license courses and exams. This was announced by the Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov in a Facebook post.

The application will allow you to track the entire training - from enrolling in a driving school, through paying the fee, passing the theoretical and practical part, to taking the exam, Karadjov specifies.

Each hour is validated with the signature of the candidate driver, the Minister of Transport also informed.

During the exam, there is a camera in the car that records both inside and outside the passenger compartment. A special algorithm ensures that the candidate driver will perform various maneuvers - a certain number of left turns, overtaking, passing through intersections and traffic lights, etc. Each candidate driver receives a unique access code to the application and can thus familiarize themselves with all the information about their training - The schedule of classes, the classes held, the results of his theoretical and practical exams, are also indicated in the publication.

According to Karadjov, the candidate can see details about his theoretical and practical exams - the recording from the two cameras in the car, the GPS data, the speed of movement, as well as the mistakes made.

The application is free and can be used on any mobile device.

I hope that in this way we will overcome a large part of the weaknesses in the training of young drivers and they will come out prepared on the road, says Grozdan Karadjov about the changes.
