Due to high temperatures: Mineral water is being distributed again in Sofia

The Bulgarian Red Cross will be distributing water at a point on Sveta Nedelya Square and in the garden opposite Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (next to the metro), from 11:00 to 13:00

Due to the expected very high temperatures today, the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) will be distributing free mineral water in Sofia. This was announced by the BRC, quoted by BTA. The water will be distributed at a point on “Sveta Nedelya“ Square and in the garden opposite Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski“ (next to the metro), from 11:00 to 13:00.

The water is a donation from partners of the Red Cross organization and is part of the disaster reserve of the Bulgarian Red Cross.

Drink enough water, avoid staying in the sun between 12:00 and 17:00, wear a hat and light-colored clothes, use sunscreen, advise the Bulgarian Red Cross. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell, add the Bulgarian Red Cross.

Free water has been distributed since yesterday in the center of Sofia and in the "Lyulin" residential area, the Sofia Municipality announced. Citizens will be able to get water at "St. Nedelya" Square, next to the pylons of the National Palace of Culture and in the underpass of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" until supplies run out. The distribution of water will continue until today, July 25, inclusive. Two points for distributing free bottled water are available between 10:00 and 17:30 until Friday, including at the “Lyulin“ metro station, from the exit to the tram stop, and at the “Zapaden Park“ metro station, from the exit to the shopping center, the administration of the “Lyulin“ metropolitan area announced.
