"All this work outside the Anti-Corruption Commission gives me the impression of some extraordinary dynamics". This was commented to the Bulgarian National Radio by Petyo Tsekov, a journalist from "Sega":
"Compromising materials are flying, mayors, deputy mayors are being arrested, protests are taking place in the streets every day. It seems like the impression is being created of some kind of pre-election situation, but there is none. There is no pre-election situation, because we have a clear parliamentary majority. There is a clear deadline – from January 1, we are adopting the euro and entering a new stage of our development, that is, at this stage here and now during these heat waves we do not have any pre-election situation. Everyone is behaving as if we have elections tomorrow.
"It has become a mantra that whatever happens in the state, in politics, Peevski should steer the ship", noted in an interview for the "Nedelya 150" program on "Horizont" Lyubomir Stefanov, political scientist:

"Peevski gives the impression that he is an indispensable and central factor in maintaining whatever is going on in politics - normal, abnormal, pathological or not. The leader of the MRF challenges others with his actions, that is, what he is doing, in my opinion, is not some meaningful sequence in his political career, but simply destabilizes the ranks of all kinds of people who can somehow say that the king is naked. Because the truth is that just as Dogan years ago instilled an impression and feeling of the undeniable importance of the MRF and a supporter of stability and political order and peace in the country, so Peevski is following in his footsteps. I want to imagine a situation in which the MRF, even without "New Beginning", since the court has now legalized his leadership, votes a vote of no confidence in this government with "We continue the change" – Democratic Bulgaria" on the one hand and "Vazrazhdane" on the other".
