The Japanese technology giant Toyota has officially launched a new chapter in its European history with the premiere of the all-electric C-HR+ crossover. This model is not just another addition to the portfolio, but a bold leap forward that combines avant-garde design with impressive autonomy and dynamics, aimed directly at the needs of the modern urban person.

Inheriting the success of the classic C-HR range, of which over a million units are already on the roads of the Old Continent, the new C-HR+ raises the bar dramatically. Engineers have opted for two battery variations - a compact 57.7 kWh for front-wheel drive versions and a solid 77 kWh for those looking for more power. The top-of-the-line four-wheel drive version is a true "athlete" on the road with its 343 horsepower, catapulting the car to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. To achieve this efficiency, innovative SiC semiconductors were used that minimize energy losses.

In terms of freedom of movement, the Toyota C-HR+ sets a new standard for the brand with a range of up to an impressive 607 km on the WLTP cycle. Worries about long waits at the charging station are also a thing of the past – thanks to the battery preheating system and support for fast charging up to 150 kW, the capacity can be restored from 10% to 80% in less than half an hour, even when it's frosty outside.

The eTNGA platform on which the crossover is built provides an extremely low center of gravity and 30% higher body rigidity compared to previous architectures. Combined with intelligent torque vectoring in 4x4 versions, the car offers precise handling and stability even on slippery asphalt, while maintaining its ability to tow loads up to 1,500 kg.

Visually, the C-HR+ retains its iconic coupe silhouette, but with more muscular proportions. The wheelbase has been extended to 2,750 mm, providing more space in the interior, and the aerodynamic coefficient of 0.262 emphasizes the pursuit of maximum efficiency. The characteristic “hammer” front, hidden door handles and the option of 20-inch wheels give the car the appearance of a concept model ready for series production.

In the cabin, the focus is on the digital experience and environmental responsibility. The driver has a 14-inch central display and a 7-inch digital instrument panel, and the atmosphere is complemented by 64-color ambient lighting. In the spirit of sustainable development, the seats are upholstered with materials from recycled plastic bottles. Practicality has not been neglected either – the luggage compartment offers a volume of up to 416 liters with the possibility of flexible transformations.

Safety is guaranteed by the T-Mate package and the latest generation of Toyota Safety Sense systems, including adaptive lights, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping assistant. All this is easily controlled through the MyToyota application or via the voice assistant with the command “Hey Toyota“.

To give future owners complete peace of mind, the company offers an unprecedented battery warranty – up to 10 years or an incredible one million kilometers of mileage. Official sales of the Toyota C-HR+ in Europe will start at the end of March 2026, promising to make electric mobility a real pleasure.
